December 2016 Newsletter

Dear Friends,

The December Previews catalog was supposed to arrive on Wednesday, November thirtieth. Unfortunately UPS has lost my shipment so I’m going to do the best I can with a downloaded database of the catalog. I will try to point out the new and notable items that I think might interest you. These solicitations are for comics and products that will begin shipping in March of 2017. If there’s anything that you’d like, please try and let me know by the twenty first of this month so I can be sure to have enough copies on hand to fill your requests and subscription orders. (Don’t feel obligated to subscribe to a whole series; if you’d just like a copy of the first issue of a new series to try it out, let me know and I’ll be sure to put a copy aside for you.)

If you’d like to follow along or see some images of covers and artwork you can go to www.PreviewsWorld.com
and there are other articles at www.Scoop.PreviewsWorld.com, or you could sign up for the newsletter and maybe win prizes in the weekly giveaways at www.PreviewsWorld.com/subscribe.

After more than three decades of selling comics in Tucson, fifteen years since I opened my own shop, there are big changes ahead. On Saturday, the first of February there will be a Grand Reopening event as I’m in the process of buying a permanent location. The new shop will be bigger and better. It will be on Kolb Road near 22nd Street and for the first week there will be thousands of comics on sale for just twenty five cents each. And on Saturday, the eighth of February will be the first of the quarterly benefits in the new location. This one will benefit the good works of our friends at the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. There will be a one dollar raffle, there will a silent auction for original art and collectibles and there will be a bunch of talented and generous artists on hand to provide free sketches all day, from ten AM until five PM! When we get closer I will send you all the new address with pictures of the new shop as well as directions. It is YOUR friendship and support over the past decade and a half that’s brought the shop to this point. I’ve been very fortunate and honored to share your interests, meet your families and keep your collections current and your support and loyalty has made this move and expansion possible. THANK YOU ALL! I hope that we can continue together for many years to come.

    Peace,

    Charlie
